About Our Team
Choosing the right office to help you fulfill your goal of a healthy, beautiful smile is an important part of your orthodontic treatment. At Dr. Groves’ Orthodontics the entire team is highly trained and dedicated to providing you with a superior level of orthodontic treatment and personalized patient care. We are committed to caring for each patient as if they were our own son or daughter. We are proud to offer you over 100 years of combined dental experience. Our team members maintain the highest standard in the field of orthodontics. We follow the procedures recommended by OSHA for sterilization and infection control assuring your health and safety. Cathy has
been a member of Dr. Groves’ orthodontic team as both an Appointment
Coordinator and Operatory Assistant. She is a native of the
metroplex and a graduate of Arlington High School. Cathy received
an Applied Science degree from T.C.C. in Interpreting for the Deaf. She
and her husband Matt live in Arlington with their two boys, Gabe
and Reese. In her spare time Cathy enjoys playing indoor soccer,
softball, and spending time with her family.
Dawn is our Clinical Supervisor and Laboratory Technician. She
began her career in orthodontics in 1981. Dawn is originally
from Missouri and moved to the metroplex in 1976 where she graduated
from Sam Houston High School in Arlington. Dawn lives in Grapevine
with her husband Terry who is an air traffic controller. Together
they have four children and two grandchildren. In her spare
time, Dawn enjoys gardening, scrapbooking, and spoiling her Maltese
named Baby.
Debbie is
the Financial/Insurance Coordinator at Dr. Groves’ office. She
has been in the dental field since 1987. Debbie was born in
Dallas and has lived in the area all her life. She currently
resides in Hurst with her husband, Eddie and their Boxer mix, Sugar. They
are the proud parents of three grown children and two grandchildren. Debbie
enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities. Debbie
states, “I enjoy working with people and making their orthodontic
experience enjoyable.”
Debra is one of the Front Desk Coordinators
at Groves Orthodontics. She was born and raised in Texas, and
has spent time living in Georgia and Michigan. Debra has been
married to her husband John for 21 years. They reside in Fort
Worth with their children, Tiffany and Matthew. Debra and John
are very involved with the youth at their church. In her spare
time, Debra enjoys her family, exercise, cooking, and making jewelry.
Jennifer has
over 10 years experience as an Operatory Assistant. She was
born in Michigan and has been in the DFW area since 1993. Jennifer
and her husband Marty, a Watauga police detective, have been married
for 12 years and have two active daughters. In addition to
spending time with her family and friends, she enjoys swimming, country
western dancing, and weekend trips to Austin.
Kim is our Diagnostic Records Coordinator,
as well as an Operatory Assistant. She has been in the dental
field for over 7 years. Kim was born in Oklahoma and has lived
in many places, including Portugal! She now lives in Keller
with her husband Gary and their two Boston Terriers. Kim loves
to spend time with her four grown sons and two granddaughters. In
her spare time, Kim likes gardening and being outdoors with family
and friends.
Leona is an Orthodontic Assistant
with 14 years experience. She resides in Justin, Texas. Leona
has one daughter, Elizabeth, and a son-in-law, Jason. In Leona’s
free time, she enjoys cross stiching and relaxing in the outdoors. 
Lynn has
been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1979 and has been in orthodontics
for over 20 years. She
is the Appointment Coordinator at Groves Orthodontics and enjoys
welcoming the patients as they arrive. Lynn is originally
from Michigan and is the fourth of six children. She is married
to her husband Bob, and they have a daughter, Amie. Lynn
enjoys exercise, travel, and spending time with friends and family.
Martine is
an Operatory Assistant with over 18 years experience in dentistry. Originally
from Belgium, she is fluent in French and English. Martine
and her husband Georges, who served in the U.S. Air Force, have been
married since 1984. While on active duty in England, their
son Justin was born. Five years later their daughter Julie
was born in New Orleans. Martine and her family now live in
North Richland Hills with their two dogs, Gizmo and Tucker.
Mona is
Dr. Groves’ Treatment Coordinator. She has been helping
to create beautiful smiles for over 20 years as both a Treatment
Coordinator and as an Operatory Assistant. Mona was born and
raised in Northeast Tarrant County. She graduated from Haltom
High School and married her husband Kevin, who is in the Navy. They
have two children, Clayton and Alicia. The family lived in
Spain while in the military and returned to the midcities in 1989. Mona
and her family now live in Bedford along with their dog and two cats. In
her free time, Mona enjoys camping and any outdoor activities.
